Erwin Hameseder named Austria's most important manager for second consecutive year

Erwin Hameseder, Chairman of Raiffeisen Holding, has been named Austria's most important manager for the second consecutive year, according to a ranking by Industriemagazin in collaboration with FAS Research.

Hameseder, who has led Raiffeisen-Holding Niederösterreich-Wien since 2012 and serves as Raiffeisen General Counsel since 2022, represents a vast network of members and employees.

Following Hameseder, Verbund CEO Michael Strugl secured the second position, while UNIQA's Andreas Brandstetter took third place, noted for his withdrawal from the Russian market.

Infineon CEO Sabine Herlitschka remains in fourth place, marking her as the highest-ranked woman in the list.

OMV's Alfred Stern continues to follow closely behind. The rankings reflect the significant influence and leadership of these executives within Austria's corporate landscape.
