A senior banker at UBS Group AG, who is well-known for his work on debt-for-nature swaps, has left the firm.
Ramzi Issa, who previously held a position as global head of credit investor products structuring at Credit Suisse, joined UBS as head of global structured credit and sustainable credit products just one year ago.
Sources familiar with the matter have confirmed that Issa has departed from the Swiss bank. This change in leadership within UBS's structured credit division, particularly in the area of sustainable finance initiatives, is significant.
