IAG SA, the parent company of British Airways, announced better-than-expected third-quarter earnings due to strong demand for trans-Atlantic flights.
The airline group's adjusted operating profit for the quarter increased by 15% compared to the previous year, reaching over €2 billion.
Revenue for the quarter also exceeded forecasts, reaching €9.33 billion ($10.1 billion).
