Exponent Energy is preparing to launch its inaugural integrated facility, called 'e-Park', in Bengaluru's Electronic City. The facility will consist of a 1 GW battery manufacturing plant and dedicated research and development labs.
The company expects this new facility to greatly increase its operational capacity and plans to open it within the next two months. Last year, Exponent Energy successfully completed a Series B funding round, raising around $26 million. The funding was led by Eight Roads Ventures and TDK Ventures, with participation from other notable investors such as Lightspeed, YourNest VC, 3one4 Capital, AdvantEdge VC, and the family office of Pawan Munjal, executive chairman of Hero MotoCorp.
This strategic move represents a significant expansion for the Bengaluru-based electric vehicle startup, which is currently based in Attibele, as it seeks to expand its operations in the rapidly growing EV market.
