easyJet to more than double dividend amid strong travel demand

EasyJet Plc has proposed a significant increase in its dividend payout for the current year, with the airline's board recommending an ordinary dividend of 12.1 pence per share, up from 4.5 pence in the previous year.

This increase reflects the strong demand for EasyJet's package holiday offerings. The company is also making progress towards its medium-term targets, supported by a positive travel outlook.

EasyJet plans to distribute the dividend in March, with 20% of the total dividend being paid out at that time.
