Uber introduces subscription service Uber One for Indian users

Uber has launched its subscription service, 'Uber One', in India, with the aim of increasing customer engagement in the face of growing competition in the ride-hailing market.

This service, which has already been available in the US and Canada since 2021, represents a significant expansion for Uber in India, where it hopes to attract a wider user base.

The subscription plans are priced at Rs 149 per month, Rs 349 for three months, and Rs 1,499 annually.

Uber One already has over 25 million members globally, and the company is looking to replicate this success in India, where similar subscription models have been adopted by food and grocery delivery services like Swiggy and Zomato.
