GMR Airports Infrastructure Ltd experienced a nearly 20% growth in consolidated revenue for the second quarter, amounting to Rs 2,589.1 crore, compared to Rs 2,162.4 crore in the same period last year.
The company's EBITDA also increased by 13% to Rs 962 crore, up from Rs 848 crore in the previous fiscal year.
However, despite the revenue growth, GMR Airports recorded a net loss of Rs 256.5 crore for the quarter ending September 30, which was a slight improvement from a net loss of Rs 274.4 crore in the year-ago period.
The increase in net losses was attributed to a significant 53% rise in finance costs, totaling Rs 1,030 crore, along with a 27.5% year-on-year increase in depreciation and amortization expenses, reaching Rs 474.2 crore.
