hyundai launches initium hydrogen car with extended driving range and power backup

Hyundai Motor Co. has unveiled its latest hydrogen-powered vehicle, the Initium, which is scheduled to be released in the first half of next year.

This new model aims to strengthen the company's commitment to clean fuel technology, with a target driving range of over 650 kilometers (404 miles) on a single refueling, surpassing the range of the Nexo, Hyundai's first hydrogen-based SUV.

In addition to its impressive range, the Initium can connect to a household's electricity supply, enabling it to function as a backup power source. This innovative approach highlights Hyundai's strategic focus on expanding its hydrogen vehicle lineup and promoting sustainable energy solutions in the automotive industry.
