Simon Weiner has been appointed as the new Head of Sales Union Switzerland at Helvetia, effective January 1, 2025. This position has been created to consolidate sales channels in Switzerland and improve customer satisfaction.

Weiner, who is currently the Head of Sales Region Central, will succeed Ralph Jeitziner, who has been leading the sales team for 29 years and will retire on April 30, 2026. Weiner has extensive experience in the Swiss insurance sector and has been implementing the 2025 sales strategy in the region that generates the most revenue for Helvetia. He has previously served as the CEO of Orion Rechtsschutz Versicherung AG and has held various sales positions at Zurich Financial Services.

In addition to his new role, Weiner will also join the Executive Board of Helvetia Switzerland, positioning him to lead the sales department after Jeitziner's retirement.
