Eni SpA is making good progress with its plan to sell off assets, with more than half of its targeted disposals already completed.
The Italian energy company has successfully sold assets worth €5.9 billion ($6.1 billion) and is expected to announce an additional €3 billion in sales by the end of 2025.
The upcoming asset sales will mainly focus on Eni's upstream business, reflecting the company's strategic shift in its operations.
Analysts at UBS note that Eni's divestment efforts are ahead of schedule, positioning the company for a more streamlined future in the energy sector.
