renault expands workforce in china to enhance electric vehicle development

Renault SA is expanding its presence in China to capitalize on the country's thriving electric vehicle (EV) market.

The French automaker aims to strengthen its EV capabilities by hiring around 200 personnel in Shanghai, with a focus on hardware engineering for the development of a new electric Twingo priced under €20,000 ($21,106).

Additionally, Renault plans to recruit software engineers to further support its EV development efforts.
