American officials have engaged with representatives from the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand, highlighting the potential for collaboration in this emerging energy sector.

Andrew Light, the assistant secretary of energy for international affairs at the Department of Energy, emphasized the US's ability to facilitate government-to-government discussions on the current offerings of SMRs.

This initiative was announced during the Singapore International Energy Week conference, demonstrating a strategic move to strengthen energy partnerships in the region.
