glarner kantonalbank announces board change with angela petruzzi nomination

Glarner Kantonalbank (GLKB) will experience a change in its Board of Directors at the 2025 Annual General Meeting.

Angela Petruzzi has been proposed as a new board member to replace Benjamin Mühlemann, who served as a representative of the government council from 2021 to 2024.

Mühlemann took on the role as an independent member for a one-year transition period after the unexpected passing of former Board Chairman Martin Leutenegger earlier this year.

Petruzzi is the owner and managing director of Petruzzi GmbH and Erich Fischli & Partner KLG in Näfels, where she has extensive experience in business consulting.

Her expertise includes accounting, tax, and business consulting, as well as auditing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and supporting restructuring efforts.

She also holds the position of deputy head of finance for ESAF 2025 Glarnerland+ and previously worked as an audit manager at consulting firm BDO, where she was appointed deputy director in 2018.
