Barbara A. Heller's tenure as a member of the Bank Council of Graubünden Cantonal Bank has been extended by the government for an additional four years, now set to conclude on March 31, 2029.
Heller, who has been part of the Bank Council since 2021, brings extensive experience from almost twenty years in management roles within the financial and pharmaceutical sectors. With a background in economics and political science, she currently leads her own firm specializing in corporate governance. Heller's expertise is complemented by her involvement in various management and expert bodies, and she resides in St. Moritz.
The Bank Council, which is the highest governing body of Graubünden Cantonal Bank, consists of seven members responsible for overseeing the Executive Board, shaping the bank's strategic direction, and establishing its risk policy and regulatory framework. Appointments to the council are made by the government, adhering to the guidelines set forth by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).
