former UBS vice chair advocates leniency for Archegos founder Bill Hwang

Bob Foresman, a former UBS Vice Chair, has joined a coalition of individuals from Wall Street, clergy, and a former NFL linebacker to advocate for leniency for Bill Hwang, the founder of Archegos Capital Management.

Foresman, who worked as a senior investment banker at UBS from 2016 to 2020, is one of many individuals who have submitted letters in support of Hwang's request for no prison time.

The sentencing will be conducted on November 20 by US District Judge Alvin Hellerstein in Manhattan.
