BEML has been awarded a significant order worth Rs 246.78 crore from Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) for the supply of 48 rear dump trucks, including necessary spares and after-sales service support. This announcement was made on November 20, demonstrating BEML"s commitment to expanding its presence in the high-capacity mining sector.

The BH60M Rear Dump Trucks, equipped with a powerful Cummins engine delivering 480 kW (644 FHP) at 2000 rpm and an advanced Allison transmission, are specifically designed to meet the demanding requirements of mining operations. These trucks have a payload capacity of 54,500 kg and are engineered for optimal performance.

BEML"s shares have experienced a 29% increase year-to-date, reflecting strong market confidence. The management has reaffirmed its guidance for FY25, projecting approximately 20% revenue growth, driven by increased execution in defense and steady advancements in the mining sector. BEML Chairman and Managing Director Shantanu Roy emphasized the significance of the partnership with CCL, highlighting the company"s dedication to delivering innovative and reliable mining solutions.
