EFG International has expanded its Asia Advisory Board by appointing Urs Buchmann as Vice Chairman and Ashish Gumashta as a board member.
Both individuals have extensive experience in the region and are expected to contribute to the bank's growth strategy in the Asia-Pacific and South Asia markets.
Buchmann previously served as Vice Chairman of Credit Suisse in Hong Kong, where he focused on the bank's development in China and managed operations in Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, and Thailand.
Gumashta, on the other hand, was formerly the Managing Director of Strategic Initiatives at Motilal Oswal and spent eight years as Executive Chairman and CEO of Julius Baer in India.
Boris Collardi, Chairman of the EFG Asia Advisory Board, expressed confidence in their combined expertise and its potential to advance the bank's strategic objectives in the region.
