Nestlé completes 20 billion Swiss franc share buyback program successfully

Nestlé has successfully concluded its share buyback program, which began in January 2022.

The company repurchased a total of 187.4 million shares on the stock exchange at an average price of 106.74 francs per share, despite the closing price on Monday being 74.08 francs.

As part of this program, approximately 14 million shares were cancelled during the 2022 Annual General Meeting, with an additional 80 million shares cancelled in 2023 and 50 million in 2024. The remaining 43.5 million shares will be addressed at the upcoming 2025 Annual General Meeting.
