Altria Group faces sell rating amid diverse tobacco product portfolio

Altria Group, Inc. has been given a sell rating by UBS due to concerns about its business outlook.

The company primarily operates in the tobacco industry, with the majority of its net sales coming from the production of cigarettes, including popular brands like Marlboro, L&M, and Chesterfield, as well as cigars such as Black & Mild and pipe tobacco.

Altria also manufactures smokeless tobacco products, which account for a smaller portion of its net sales and feature brands like Copenhagen and Skoal. Additionally, the company has a minor segment called "Other" that contributes a small percentage to its overall sales.

Altria also holds a 10% stake in Anheuser-Busch InBev, a major player in the beverage industry.
