The office of Credit Suisse on Station Avenue in Bellinzona will be closing on December 2 and merging with the UBS branch at Largo Elvezia 2.
Most of the client advisory staff will move to the new location, while employees in other roles will be reassigned to different regional offices.
UBS emphasized the importance of this integration step, as it aims to consolidate branches and improve service offerings in the Bellinzona and Valleys region.
The consolidation of branches is a critical part of the Credit Suisse integration process, and a thorough analysis was conducted to assess the coexistence of two branches in the same area, taking into account client needs and operational activities.
The Bellinzona branch will be modified to accommodate Credit Suisse employees and ensure uninterrupted service for clients.
This is the first large consolidated branch in Ticino, with approximately 50 employees.
