Angela Petruzzi has been nominated by Glarner Kantonalbank (GLKB) for election to its Board of Directors, replacing Benjamin Mühlemann who is stepping down.
Petruzzi, the owner and managing director of Petruzzi GmbH and Erich Fischli & Partner KLG in Näfels, has extensive experience in financial statement, tax, and management consulting, as well as auditing for SMEs.
She previously held the position of Head of Auditing at BDO AG in Lachen and Glarus.
Mühlemann has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2021, representing the Glarus cantonal government.
After the former Chairman Martin Leutenegger unexpectedly left earlier this year, Mühlemann agreed to continue as an independent member until the 2025 Annual General Meeting.
In terms of market activity, GLKB shares experienced a temporary decline of 1.86%, trading at 21.10 Swiss francs on the SIX exchange.
