Clifford Abrahams has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer of IG Group, starting in December. Abrahams brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles in the financial sector, including serving as CFO and Executive Director at Virgin Money UK Plc.

He has also held positions such as Deputy CEO and CFO at ABN AMRO Bank NV, CFO of the ABN AMRO Group NV, CFO for UK & Ireland Life Insurance at Aviva Plc, CFO at Aviva Investors Global Services Ltd, Group Chief Financial Officer at NN Group Bidco BV, and Managing Director of the Financial Institutions Group at Morgan Stanley BV.

Abrahams holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a degree from the University of Cambridge, highlighting his strong academic credentials in finance.
