Aave considers Chainlink integration to redistribute MEV profits to users

Aave is considering integrating Chainlink's oracle service to address the challenges posed by Maximum Extractable Value (MEV) in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space.

This integration aims to redirect MEV profits back to users of the protocol, specifically from liquidations. MEV occurs when block builders reorder transactions to their advantage, resulting in profits for them and less for users. Aave's current liquidation model has become a target for MEV exploitation, benefiting third-party liquidators more than users.

By integrating Chainlink's Smart Value Recapture (SVR) service, Aave aims to capture a significant portion of MEV profits and direct them to the Aave ecosystem for the benefit of its users. This integration could enhance user experience and fairness in the DeFi space.

MEV is a widespread concern across the Ethereum network, leading users to turn to private transactions to protect their trades. The adoption of innovative solutions like Chainlink's SVR could create a more secure and equitable DeFi environment, addressing the root causes of MEV and redistributing profits more fairly.

Aave's exploration of Chainlink's SVR integration represents a proactive approach to tackling the complexities of MEV in DeFi.
