Nilesh Shah warns foreign investors of higher costs to re-enter Indian markets

Nilesh Shah, the Managing Director of Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company, warned that foreign investors who sell their investments in the Indian markets now will face higher costs if they want to reinvest later.

He advised caution for investors with a one-year horizon, suggesting that they should avoid equity markets due to potential threats in India.

Shah made these comments during a panel discussion on market management at the CNBC-TV18 Global Leadership Summit in Mumbai, where he also shared insights on the outlook for India following Donald Trump's recent election victory.
