Givaudan AG, a prominent global producer of flavors and fragrances, has disclosed the breakdown of its sales by product family. Flavors account for 52.1% of sales, while fragrances make up 47.9%.
The flavors segment is utilized in various products, including savory dishes, ready-made meals, snacks, soups, sauces, beverages, confectionery, and dairy items. On the other hand, the fragrances segment is crucial for cosmetics and consumer goods, such as hygiene and household products.
By the end of 2023, Givaudan plans to have 78 production sites worldwide, showcasing its extensive manufacturing capabilities. The sales are geographically diverse, with Switzerland contributing 1.2%, Europe 29%, Asia-Pacific 24.6%, North America 23.9%, Latin America 12.3%, and Africa and the Middle East 9%. This distribution highlights the company's strategic positioning across different regions to cater to a wide range of consumer needs.
