South Africa developer invests 1 billion dollars in Waterfall City project

Attacq Ltd., a South African property group, has revealed its intention to invest 20 billion rand (around $1.1 billion) in expanding its flagship Waterfall City commercial and logistics hub on the outskirts of Johannesburg.

The aim of this substantial investment is to enhance the development of the area, which is set to become a significant player in the commercial landscape of the region.

CEO Jackie van Niekerk emphasized a recent partnership with the Government Employees Pension Fund, indicating strong financial support for the project. This collaboration is expected to facilitate the ambitious growth plans for Waterfall City, further establishing its position as a major business and logistics hub in South Africa.
