mcdonalds supplier recalls onions amid e coli outbreak concerns

Certain batches of yellow onions produced in Colorado are being recalled by Taylor Farms, a supplier for McDonald's, due to an ongoing E. coli outbreak.

Taylor Farms is taking precautionary measures to ensure consumer safety, although no traces of E. coli have been found in the recalled products.

US Foods Holding Corp., another major customer of Taylor Farms, has also instructed one of its restaurant clients to dispose of the affected onions.

This recall is part of a broader multistate health investigation related to the E. coli cases associated with McDonald's.
