KEC International secures 1704 crore order from Power Grid Corporation

KEC International recently announced a significant order win from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). The company has secured turnkey orders worth Rs 1,704 crore in its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) segment, which includes the design, supply, and installation of 765 kV Transmission Lines and GIS Substations.

This development is expected to strengthen KEC's T&D order book in India, with the year-to-date order intake now totaling Rs 16,300 crores, marking a growth of over 60% compared to the previous year.

Furthermore, KEC International also announced new orders amounting to Rs 1,114 crore across various sectors. The T&D business has also made progress internationally, securing projects in the Middle East and Americas, including a 400 kV Transmission line in Oman and the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas.

The continuous inflow of orders reflects the company's strong position and confidence in the growth of its T&D business.
