Sweden's National Institute of Economic Research recently released a report indicating a decline in business sentiment in the country. The economic tendency indicator dropped to 93.6 from a revised 94.6 the previous month.
This decline raises concerns about the potential for an economic recovery. However, consumer confidence has been on the rise for the past 13 months, surpassing the 100 mark for the first time in nearly three years.
On the other hand, the manufacturing sector's sentiment has decreased to 91.8, its lowest level since June 2020. This contrast between consumer optimism and business pessimism highlights the complexities of the current economic landscape in Sweden.
