Ratan Tata's will, which was executed after his death on October 9, guarantees lifelong care for his German Shepherd, Tito. It also distributes a significant portion of his wealth to his family, foundation, and staff.
The total value of his estate is estimated to be around Rs 10,000 crore and includes assets such as a beach bungalow in Alibaug, a residence in Juhu, and fixed deposits amounting to Rs 350 crore.
The main beneficiaries of Tata's estate are his brother Jimmy, half-sisters Shireen and Deanna Jejeebhoy, and long-time staff members. Furthermore, his 0.83% stake in Tata Sons is designated for the Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation, which is expected to be chaired by N. Chandrasekaran.
