SIX, a financial services provider based in Switzerland, has announced a change in leadership. CEO Jos Dijsselhof will be leaving the company to pursue a new opportunity in the Middle East. Dijsselhof, who has been in charge for seven years, will stay until the end of February 2025 to ensure a smooth transition.
Bjørn Sibbern, the current Global Head of Exchanges, will take over as CEO on January 1, 2025. Sibbern has a wealth of experience, having previously worked with Nasdaq, OMX Exchanges, and E*TRADE Bank Denmark.
SIX President Thomas Wellauer commended Dijsselhof for his significant contributions to the company's cultural transformation and modernization, which have positioned it well for future success.
