Tata AIG aims for 30 percent growth in retail health insurance segment

Tata AIG General Insurance Company has set an ambitious target to achieve a 30% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in its retail health insurance segment over the next three years.

The growth strategy is supported by the recent launch of five new products aimed at enhancing the flexibility and comprehensiveness of its offerings. The new products, introduced on October 23, include Mental Wellbeing, EmpowerHer, OPD Care, CanCare, and Flexi Shield. Pratik Gupta, Senior Executive Vice President & Head – Agency at Tata AIG, emphasized that these new products are crucial to the company's strategy for accelerating growth in the health insurance sector.

The focus will be on expanding access and awareness in tier 2 and 3 cities across India, where healthcare needs are rapidly evolving alongside rising medical costs. The company aims to provide customized protection that addresses emerging health concerns and lifestyle changes, reflecting a commitment to meet the diverse needs of its customers.
