renault reports strong vehicle sales and global market presence in 2023

Renault SA, a major player in the global automotive industry, recorded vehicle sales accounting for the majority of its total revenue in 2023.

The company sold 2.2 million passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Renault was the leading brand with 1,548,748 units sold, followed by Dacia with 658,321 units. Renault Korea Motors sold 21,980 units, Alpine sold 4,328 units, and other brands contributed 1,968 units.

Apart from vehicle sales, Renault also generated revenue from services, including sales financing, maintenance, extended warranties, and mobility services. These services accounted for 8.1% of the company's total revenue.

Renault operates 38 industrial sites worldwide as of the end of 2023. In terms of geographical distribution, the company has a strong presence in France (29.2%), Europe (49.3%), the Americas (8.7%), Eurasia (6.1%), Asia-Pacific (3.5%), and Africa and the Middle East (3.2%).
