glarner kantonalbank announces new board member ahead of 2025 meeting

Glarner Kantonalbank has announced a change in its Board of Directors, which will occur at the upcoming Annual General Meeting in 2025.

Angela Petruzzi has been proposed as a new member, succeeding Benjamin Mühlemann, who is stepping down after serving from 2021 to 2024 as a representative of the cantonal government.

Mühlemann's departure follows the unexpected passing of former Chairman Martin Leutenegger earlier this year, after which he agreed to remain for a transitional year as an independent member.

Petruzzi brings extensive experience in management consulting to her new role. She is the owner and managing director of Petruzzi GmbH and Erich Fischli & Partner KLG, specializing in financial statement, tax, and management consulting, as well as auditing and restructuring support for SMEs.

Additionally, she serves as Deputy Head of Finance at ESAF 2025 Glarnerland+. Her previous experience includes a long tenure as Head of Auditing at BDO in Lachen and Glarus, where she also held the position of Deputy Director from 2018.
