Inflows into US funds from emerging markets, including India, have surpassed $47 billion, as per a report.

During the week ending November 29, US funds recorded inflows of Rs 3.07 lakh crore ($37 billion), contributing to a total of Rs 12.28 lakh crore ($148 billion) over the past five weeks.

Notably, approximately Rs 3.9 lakh crore or $47 billion of this total originated from shifts in capital from other emerging markets such as China, India, Korea, and Taiwan.

  • China led the outflows with $11 billion (Rs 91,300 crore)
  • India followed with $2.2 billion (Rs 18,260 crore)
  • Taiwan with $1.4 billion (Rs 11,620 crore)

Additionally, there has been a significant improvement in US investments in mid- and small-cap stocks, with inflows of $9.8 billion (Rs 81,340 crore) and $13.7 billion (Rs 1.14 lakh crore), respectively, over the same five-week period.
