Pakistan receives single bid for national airline stake sale

Pakistan's efforts to privatize its national airline have not been successful, as only one bid has been received for a stake in the carrier.

Five other consortiums chose not to participate in this significant privatization initiative.

The sole bidder has met the deadline for submitting the required "earnest money" to the Privatisation Commission, according to Ahsan Ishaq, spokesperson for the Privatisation Ministry.

The identity of the interested party has not been revealed.
