The CEO of Ripple Labs, Brad Garlinghouse, believes that an XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF) will eventually be launched. This comes after a legal battle with the US Securities and Exchange Commission over the classification of XRP as a security.
Garlinghouse mentioned in an interview with Bloomberg Television that there is a high demand for cryptocurrency investment products. He pointed out that since the approval of Bitcoin ETFs in January, $17 billion has been invested in what he described as the fastest-growing ETF in history. Garlinghouse's remarks highlight the growing interest from both institutional and retail investors in accessing cryptocurrency assets through regulated financial products.
If an XRP ETF is introduced, it could further expand the market and provide investors with a new way to diversify their portfolios with digital assets.
