Raiffeisen Switzerland restructures eliminating operating services department and leadership role

Raiffeisen Switzerland plans to streamline its organizational structure by dissolving the "Operating Service" department, which has been responsible for aligning Group strategy with operational processes since 2022.

This decision will result in a reduction of departments from seven to six. The remaining units will be "Risk & Compliance," "Finance & Services," "IT," "Products & Investment Services," "Corporate Clients, Treasury & Markets," and "Raiffeisenbank Services."

Uwe Krakau, who joined the bank in mid-2022 as the Head of the "Operating Services" department, will be leaving due to this restructuring. Krakau is recognized as a transformation and project expert with extensive experience in the IT sector, particularly within the financial industry.

The reorganization aims to simplify processes and reduce interfaces in strategy implementation.
