Nara Lokesh, a prominent figure in Andhra Pradesh's government, responded to concerns raised by TV Mohandas Pai, the former CFO of Infosys, regarding the state's governance and infrastructure.
Lokesh acknowledged the challenges faced by businesses in the past five years but emphasized the state's commitment to rebuilding and making significant progress, particularly in Amaravati.
He highlighted the potential of Andhra Pradesh's human capital, noting that many individuals who had previously sought employment elsewhere are now considering returning due to the state's focus on developing top-notch infrastructure and improving connectivity.
Lokesh expressed confidence in the state's ability to regain investor trust, citing the global reputation of Telugus in the IT sector and the untapped talent available in the region.
Pai, on the other hand, criticized the previous government's handling of critical issues such as road conditions and traffic management in Bengaluru, expressing frustration over the lack of action.
He urged the current administration, led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, to take decisive steps to restore public trust and improve the situation on the ground.
