Clifford Abrahams has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer of IG Group, starting in December.

Abrahams is currently the CFO and Executive Director at Virgin Money UK Plc. He has a wealth of experience from his previous roles in well-known financial institutions.

Abrahams has held positions such as Vice Chairman and CFO of ABN AMRO Bank NV, CFO of ABN AMRO Group NV, CFO of UK & Ireland Life Insurance at Aviva Plc, CFO of Aviva Investors Global Services Ltd, Group CFO at NN Group Bidco BV, and Managing Director of the Financial Institutions Group at Morgan Stanley BV. He has an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a postgraduate diploma from Cambridge University, highlighting his strong academic background in finance.
