The company's revenue comes from a wide range of products, with skin care accounting for 39.9% of sales, followed by make-up at 19.7%, hair care at 15.4%, fragrances at 12.6%, hair color products at 8.3%, and other categories at 4.1%.
The sales are divided into different categories: consumer cosmetics (36.9%), luxury cosmetics (36.2%), active cosmetics (15.6%), and professional products (11.3%). Notable brands include L'Oréal Paris, Lancôme, La Roche-Posay, and Kérastase. These products are distributed through various channels, such as supermarkets, selective distribution, hair salons, and pharmacies.
By the end of 2023, L'Oréal plans to have 37 production sites worldwide. In terms of geographical sales, Europe contributes 31.6%, North America 27%, North Asia 25.9%, Asia-Pacific-Middle East-Africa 8.4%, and Latin America 7.1%.
