The state government aims to train 35,000 drone pilots to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in this rapidly expanding industry. A comprehensive drone policy is expected to be released within 15 days, aimed at creating a business-friendly environment for drone manufacturers.

Naidu highlighted the successful use of drones in recent disaster response efforts, particularly during the floods in Vijayawada, where they played a crucial role in delivering essential supplies such as food and water. He also emphasized the potential of drones in alleviating urban traffic congestion and enhancing agricultural practices, showcasing their versatility and importance in modern infrastructure and emergency management.
