Mankind Pharma has successfully acquired Bharat Serums and Vaccines Ltd (BSV) for Rs 13,768 crore. This acquisition positions Mankind as a leader in the Indian women's health and fertility drug market, while also expanding its portfolio in the critical care segment with access to high entry barrier products and advanced R&D technology platforms.

Mankind Pharma's Vice-chairman and Managing Director, Rajeev Juneja, expressed excitement in welcoming BSV's employees to the Mankind family, emphasizing the potential for accelerated growth in this new chapter of the company's journey.

BSV is known for its strong research and development capabilities, having developed recombinant and niche biologic products in-house. The company has a wide range of branded products in women's health, fertility, critical care, and immunoglobulins.
