virgin atlantic reports strong demand for premium travel this winter

Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd. is experiencing strong demand for its business and premium economy cabins this winter, indicating a continued preference for luxury travel experiences among consumers.

The CEO, Shai Weiss, mentioned that although there has been a slight decrease in demand for economy class, it is still in line with expectations and fares are stable.

The airline currently has between zero and two Boeing 787 aircraft grounded due to issues with their Rolls-Royce Holdings Plc engines. However, Weiss believes that this situation will not have a significant impact on fare pricing.
