domestic investors buy 6040 crore while foreign investors sell 5685 crore

DIIs made significant net purchases of shares worth Rs 6,040 crore on October 23, while FIIs net sold shares amounting to Rs 5,685 crore, according to provisional data from the NSE.

During the trading session, DIIs acquired shares worth Rs 16,434 crore and sold Rs 10,394 crore, whereas FIIs purchased Rs 14,753 crore but offloaded equities valued at Rs 20,437 crore.

Year-to-date figures reveal a stark contrast in investor behavior, with FIIs having net sold shares totaling Rs 2.31 lakh crore, while DIIs have net bought shares worth Rs 5.70 lakh crore. This trend highlights the ongoing shift in market dynamics, as domestic investors continue to show confidence amid foreign sell-offs.
