Genus Power Shares Drop After Enforcement Directorate Conducts Search Operations

Genus Power's shares experienced a 5% decline on December 5, reaching a lower circuit at Rs 449 per share. This drop followed search operations conducted by the Enforcement Directorate at the company's corporate office and the residence of its Chairman. Despite this, the company assured that its business operations are unaffected and continuing normally.

Genus Power has cooperated fully with the officials during the search. It is worth noting that the company's stock has seen a significant surge of almost 90% this year, outperforming the Nifty 50 benchmark, which has risen by 12%. Just two days prior to the decline, on December 3, 2024, the stock had reached a 52-week high of Rs 485 per share.
