Valais Cantonal Bank (WKB) has announced a reorganization of its Executive Board, effective May 1, 2025.

This strategic initiative is aimed at enhancing the bank's digital capabilities and corporate development.

As part of the reorganization, Sophie Revaz will assume the role of Head of the newly established "Legal, Compliance and Services" division, while Didier Eggel will lead the newly created "Digitalization and Transformation" division.

The restructuring is a response to the evolving challenges in the banking sector, particularly in the areas of digitalization and innovation.

The "Services" division will be expanded and rebranded to better align with the changing legal landscape in banking.

These changes are being made as Daniel Rossi, who has been the CEO and Head of the "Services" division since 2014, prepares for retirement in 2025.

The leadership transition at WKB demonstrates the bank's commitment to effectively navigate future challenges.
