Barbara Heller has been re-elected by the Rhaetian government to serve an additional four-year term on the Bank Council of Graubünden Cantonal Bank (BCG), extending her tenure until March 2029.
Heller, an economist and business consultant with extensive management experience, has been a member of the supervisory body since 2021.
The Bank Council, similar to a board of directors, is led by Peter Fanconi and consists of seven members appointed by the cantonal executive.
Heller's expertise in the finance sector and her background in business consulting are recognized as valuable assets to the council.
BCG, which was established in 1870, operates more than 40 branches in the multilingual region of Graubünden and has around 1,000 employees, making it one of the largest employers in the canton.
The BCG holding bond has been listed on the Swiss stock exchange since 1985.
