Raiffeisen Switzerland restructures eliminating operating services department and leadership role

Raiffeisen Switzerland will be reorganizing its organizational structure by dissolving the "Operating Service" department, effective November 1.

This department was established in 2022 to align the group"s strategy with its operational business and improve process optimization.

The responsibilities previously held by this department will now be distributed among the remaining six departments: "Risk & Compliance," "Finance & Services," "IT," "Products & Investment Services," "Corporate Clients, Treasury & Markets," and "Raiffeisenbank Services."

As part of this restructuring, Uwe Krakau, who joined Raiffeisen in mid-2022 as Head of "Operating Services," will be leaving the bank.

Krakau was known for his expertise in transformation and project management in the IT sector, particularly in the financial industry.

The goal of this reorganization is to streamline the strategy implementation process and enhance operational efficiency.
