Ramco Systems shares experienced a significant increase of more than 7% after announcing a strategic partnership with Hanjin Information Systems & Telecommunication. This collaboration aims to enhance aviation services in South Korea by combining Ramco's aviation 6.0 software with HIST's advisory services.
The goal is to streamline processes, optimize supply chains, and improve engine maintenance for Korean aviation companies. Korean Air, the national carrier, will be the first to implement Ramco's aviation software, which is a major milestone for the company's expansion.
This partnership, valued at over $10 million, will drive innovation in the IT sector by leveraging Ramco's expertise in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) solutions along with Hanjin's technological capabilities. The collaboration will also facilitate the tech transformation of Korean Air's new engine maintenance facility, which is expected to be the largest engine MRO facility in Asia.
